Introduction:

The objective of this project is to design and make the most of the site in alignment with urban standards and municipal regulations. The property, located in the central area of San Diego, will be redeveloped to include two residential apartments on either side of the site and an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) centrally located. This strategic layout is designed to maximize the use of the site while adhering to local zoning laws and building codes.

To address the challenges of working within a confined space, the design focuses on optimizing natural light and ensuring adequate interior space for each unit. The two apartments will be positioned on the peripheries of the site to maximize their exposure to light and views, while the ADU, situated in the center, will be designed to create a harmonious and functional living space. The layout has been carefully planned to balance the density of construction with high-quality living conditions.
